Camiguin Tuasan Falls is among the most affordable travel bargains on the market

The island-province of Camiguin is a pear-shaped volcanic island in the northern tip of Mindanao. It is approximately 90 kilometers north of the City of Cagayan de Oro. It is bounded to the north by Bohol Sea, to the west by Macajalar Bay, to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay. Mambajao is the capital of Camiguin, and Catarman is the second largest town on the island. The main local language is Cebuano, also called Bisaya. English and Tagalog are also widely spoken. Camiguin has three ferry terminals: Guinsiliban, Benoni and Balbagon.

Camiguin is a real gem and feels extremely safe compared to its neighboring islands. Its landscape has been continuously shaped and reshaped by volcanic activities, giving this island paradise countless tourist attractions like cold spring, waterfalls, Mount Hibok-hibok, Sunken Cemetery and a lot more.

TUASAN FALLS is a pristine waterfalls located in Brgy. Mainit, Catarman. This tourist spot is purely formed by nature, the pool where the water cascades consists of natural rock formation. The hills in and around the area are sights to behold. It also a way to experience a different part of Camiguin as the island offers more than just beaches and springs.

TUASAN FALLS used to be a hidden gem, about 2 kilometers from the main Camiguin highway. With the opening of a new cement road, it is now accessible to most travelers who want to see the inner parts of the island -- short of climbing mountains. It is worth a visit!
