There are plenty of reasons to visit Camiguin Aviation

The island-province of Camiguin is a pear-shaped volcanic island in the northern tip of Mindanao. It is approximately 90 kilometers north of the City of Cagayan de Oro. It is bounded to the north by Bohol Sea, to the west by Macajalar Bay, to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay. Mambajao is the capital of Camiguin, and Catarman is the second largest town on the island. The main local language is Cebuano, also called Bisaya. English and Tagalog are also widely spoken. Camiguin has three ferry terminals: Guinsiliban, Benoni and Balbagon.

Camiguin is a real gem and feels extremely safe compared to its neighboring islands. Its landscape has been continuously shaped and reshaped by volcanic activities, giving this island paradise countless tourist attractions like cold spring, waterfalls, Mount Hibok-hibok, Sunken Cemetery and a lot more.

Are you looking for thrill and unique adventure? This is it. Enjoy the beauty of Camiguin from above with breath taking views over the mountain peaks and sea. CAMIGUIN AVIATION is located adjacent to the Camiguin Airport in Mambajao.

CAMIGUIN AVIATION not only offers rides but also flying lessons. Before flying, there would be a briefing and you would be equipped with a life vest, a parachute, and will be strapped into your seat with a five-point hook harness. Your pilot, Captain Sean Clarke, would also make you go through the process of how to unhook yourself with just one motion and how to inflate your life vest. Your plane will be an American Champion Super Decathlon that is steady and balanced and highly adapted for aerobatics.

With all systems go and a high five, you will taxi on Camiguin airport’s runway and fly over Mambajao and see the sports complex, the ricefields and the coastal road. A coastal road tour would take 3 hours while CAMIGUIN AVIATION’s tour would go from an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. A must try when you visit Camiguin Island!
