Among Many Places Worth Visiting Are Palawan Hundred Caves

Palawan is an archipelagic province of the Philippines that is located in the region of MIMAROPA. Its capital is the city of Puerto Princesa, but the city is governed independently from the province as a highly urbanized city.

Palawan is arguably one of the top tourist destinations in the tropical paradise of the Philippines. The province has lots of beautiful & stunning sights that are responsible for making this island so breathtakingly irresistible to backpackers. Its best assets include beaches, caves, lagoons, mangroves, the rain forest, coral reefs and clear blue waters. One has to visit all the islands of Palawan to understand how hard the local people and government have worked to preserve the place. Palawan is one of the most protected provinces in the country.

HUNDRED CAVES are full of speleothems (cave deposits) made up of a variety of minerals. These majestic mineral deposits are earth’s marvelous works of art. They can be found in a variety of rainbow colors, depending on their mineral makeup and the environmental factors in the cave. You will see stalactites and stalagmites, as well as stone waterfalls and cave pearls. But don’t touch them! These amazing cave formations are sometimes fragile and their beauty should be protected for future generations to discover. The place is breathtaking, but always be careful and watch your footing.

Your experience will take you to some of the less visited tourist destinations that Palawan has to offer, including a chance to meet indigenous tribes and see some of the exotic flora and fauna of the rainforest.
